HAA 2024-005- HITRUST Assessment Handbook v1.1

Overview

Version 1.1 of the Assessment Handbook is now available on the HITRUST website, and includes updates regarding:  

• e1 and i1 combined assessments 

• The HITRUST AI Security Assessment (ai1 or ai2) 

• The HITRUST issued NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) v2.0 Certification Report

Timeline 

HITRUST expects all Assessed Entities and External Assessors to maintain awareness of the Assurance Program requirements through this Assessment Handbook. The updates in the current version 1.1 of the Assessment Handbook are effective immediately for all assessments submitted to HITRUST.
