Overview
Upon the release of CSF v11.8.0, all new e1 and i1 assessments must be created using CSF v11.8.0.
Details
- Effective May 7, 2026, the ability to create new e1 and i1 assessment objects, including rapid assessments, in MyCSF using CSF v11.7.0 will be disabled. All new e1, i1, and rapid assessments must be created using CSF v11.8.0.
- Existing e1 and i1 assessments using CSF v11.7.0 can continue to be submitted after May 7, 2026. HITRUST will announce the submission deadline for e1 and i1 assessments using v11.7.0 a minimum of 90 days in advance.
e1 and i1 Assessment Change Summary
With the release of v11.8, HITRUST is making minor changes to two requirement statements in the e1 and i1 baselines. These adjustments are the result of feedback from users of the HITRUST CSF. See HAA 2026-002: CSF Version 11.8 Release for details.
