Since founding HITRUST in 2007, Dan has set a clear strategic vision as CEO that established HITRUST as the vanguard standard in managing information risk and meeting regulatory compliance for healthcare organizations seeking security and privacy certifications. He is now focused on bringing HITRUST’s services to a global, industry-agnostic audience. Dan has been recognized as a top information security influencer by both SC Magazine and Health Information Security Magazine.

Brad is responsible for all financial aspects of HITRUST and ensuring finance and accounting teams are aligned with and supporting HITRUST’s business objectives. Brad is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of serving as a CFO in both publicly traded and privately held companies. His career has primarily been in high-growth, SaaS-based enterprises spanning information protection technologies. Brad is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.

At HITRUST, Robert is responsible for delivering innovative solutions to meet emerging information protection needs, including AI. Robert brings over 35 years of technology, security, and compliance leadership experience to HITRUST. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with health industry leaders, regulators, risk underwriters, health provider partners, customers including state and federal governments, and multiple boards of directors.

Steve leads HITRUST’s marketing strategies and operations. His role encompasses brand management, public relations, communications, demand generation, as well as sales and partner enablement. With a career spanning over 25 years, Steve has a proven track record in sales and marketing and is known for his ability to create value and drive results. He has demonstrated leadership in high-performing teams across notable organizations, including Optiv Security, Aruba Networks, Accuvant, Cisco, HP, and Nubeva.

Bimal leads the development of the HITRUST Framework (HITRUST CSF) and assurance program. His teams are responsible for conducting research on information protection practices, enhancing the framework by incorporating new or updated authoritative sources, ensuring the reliability of HITRUST certifications, and educating the HITRUST community about the HITRUST Framework (HITRUST CSF). Bimal has spent his career working with organizations to provide assurances over their information protection programs.

With extensive experience in product and solution development, Blake is committed to helping organizations obtain, maintain, and exchange reliable cybersecurity assurances to protect their information supply chains. Blake has a deep understanding of information security technologies and holds patents for vulnerability protection, intrusion prevention/detection system filtering, methodologies for detecting data modification, and other core aspects of cybersecurity.

David leads software development and technical operations for the HITRUST Framework (HITRUST CSF) and all related services. He draws on 40 years of software industry experience, including 20 years in security and compliance SaaS fields. He holds an engineering and business degree from the University of Waterloo, a master’s degree from Carleton University, and is a named inventor on more than a dozen patents.

Todd is a corporate lawyer with over 35 years’ experience in public and private companies spanning information services, education tech, utility tech, and property tech. He has been extensively involved in all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.  His company exit work has involved IPOs, secondary offerings, as well as strategic and PE backed acquirers. Todd brings over 20 years of highly relevant experience sitting in the Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel seat, many of these roles culminating in successful exits for his owners and investors. 

With more than 20 years of experience in operations leadership, KC is responsible for revenue operations, support operations, the API-based Results Distribution System, and the HITRUST Assessment XChange. In addition, KC and his teams manage business analytic activities that help drive HITRUST priorities and go-to-market strategies. He is passionate about creating process improvements and business efficiencies designed to serve the HITRUST community better.
