FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is HITRUST Report Center?

HITRUST Report Center is a secure, centralized portal for sharing HITRUST assessment status and authorized reports. It replaces manual report distribution approaches with an access-managed process in MyCSF, giving organizations control over who can view and download each report, plus full traceability of every download.

How does HITRUST Report Center work?

Each HITRUST assessment gets its own Report Center dashboard managed in the MyCSF Platform. The assessed organization grants recipient- and report-level access, and recipients reach the dashboard by link, QR code, or invitation to view assessment status and download only the reports approved for them.

Is HITRUST Report Center secure?

Yes. Report Center keeps report sharing within a controlled, permission-based platform. Reports come directly from HITRUST, downloads require authorization, and every downloaded report is watermarked with the recipient organization, downloader email, and download date, so sharing stays traceable and accountable.

What HITRUST reports can be shared through Report Center?

Report Center provides two primary report types: the Certification Summary, a shorter confirmation of the assessment outcome with scope context, and the full Certification Report. Access is granted by report type, so each recipient sees only the reports they are authorized to download.

What is the difference between a HITRUST Certification Summary and a Certification Report?

The Certification Summary is a shorter report confirming the assessment outcome with enough scope detail to judge relevance. The Certification Report is the full HITRUST assessment report, including scope, results, and supporting content for recipients who need complete detail.

Who uses HITRUST Report Center?

Report Center is used by assessed organizations sharing their HITRUST results and by relying parties who need those results, such as customers, procurement teams, and third-party risk and compliance teams. GRC and IT security teams use it to manage a growing volume of report requests in one place.
